October 20th Fundraiser at Brushstrokes

Hello team!

Our first competition is Saturday October 6th @ New Haven Field House (480 Sherman Parkway, New Haven)
We are competing during the morning session, which begins at 9am. Doors will open at 830am.

All athletes need to be at the ATHLETE ENTRANCE for 8:45am.

We are scheduled to perform at 11:30am!

A parent needs to walk their child to athlete check in area and make contact with a coach. We will take your child at that time and wait with them until we are called in to the registration table. We cannot check in until ALL ATHLETES are present. Cheerleaders must be in uniform, wearing body liner, boy shorts, white no show socks, white leather sneakers, hair in a high bun with competition bow. If it is cold that morning, wear either warm up outfit, or black leggings and a zip up top in Naugy colors. Make sure they have a small bag for their things, and send a water bottle labeled with their name. You may send them with a light snack, but please nothing messy/sticky. The team has a designated seating area where they can leave their bags while we perform.

Parents – Please wear your Naugy fan gear! Make signs! Cheer loud!! Part of our score is effected by crowd involvement!

Tickets are $25 per person (ages 2 and under are free)
CASH ONLY!!

There will be concessions and merchandise for sale during the competition!

Hi team!

We practice tonight (Monday) at hop brook gym from 615-8 … please have your athletes BRING their competition shoes so they can change into them and break in. Please mark their shoe bags and initial somewhere inside of the shoe (as long as you’re sure they fit properly and have no intention of exchanging them.

I am going to ADD A PRACTICE so we are prepared for dress rehearsal this Saturday. We will practice Tuesday at hop brook gym from 630-815 (please note the time).

We will practice Wednesday at the armory 615-8.

Please make sure your cheerleader has proper boy shorts, body liner, and competition shoes (must be white leather!). We will be wearing a bun for competition, I highly recommend getting a bun insert (aka, sock bun). Girls will also need no show socks. Please see me after practice with any questions.

So this weeks practice schedule is:

Monday (Today) 615-8 @ hop brook
Tuesday 630-815 @ hop brook
Wednesday 615-8 @ armory

Saturday – Dress Rehearsal!! Athletes need to Be at armory for 5! Parents may enter gym at 6pm. $1-$2 donation at the door. Merchandise will be available for purchase.

any parents who need help w competition hair may bring their athlete to dress rehearsal for 430p, Juliette’s Mom will be on hand to help teach how to make a high bun!

It’s looking a bit chilly and cloudy so wear body liners and warm up outfits! If you do not have the warm up pants, wear black leggings under your skirts.

Don’t forget a high pony with GAME BOW, white sneakers, white no show socks.
