The Village Middle School Golf Program enters its second season. The team has a nice balance with two 6th graders, three 7th graders, and four 8th graders. The top returning golfer is also the only female golfer on the team. Meghan Anand, as a 6th grader, won the HJPC Conference Tournament. She will look to duplicate this feat, at the HJPC Championships at Sharpstown Golf Club. The boys will each play in two tournaments, with the top four performers earning the right to represent The Village School at the HJPC Championships. Coach Brotherton took over the High School Golf Program four years ago. This will be his first year as the Head of the Middle School program. “Our hope is that this creates a seamless transition from our middle school, to our high school program. We can build relationships with our younger golfers, who we hope will be the future of our High School Program.”
