Exchange Student Hosts Needed

The Cultural Academic Student Exchange (CASE) needs Midlands host families for August arriving 2015-16 teen athletes. Share some southern hospitality, sweet tea, and Friday night football games with an English-speaking highly screened teen who has insurance and spending money.

Retired couples, homeschoolers, and busy families with kids of any age can be choose their student and enjoy this cultural exchange by providing room and borad and a supportive family environment.

Please call now!! School slots are limited and teens need to be placed.

Congratulations to State Competitors!

Congratulations to the girls 4×400 relay team for their school record breaking performance at the State Meet yesterday. The girls ran a 4:13.72 breaking the record of 4:16 set several years ago.
Team members include- Alexis Hoeve, Briann Brummette, Breanna Cole and Hayley Flower

Congratulations to Alexa Golbus for a 6th place finish in the 3200 meter race and to the 4×800 relay team for also finishing 6th . Relay members are: Alexa Golbus, Meredith Ussery, Ashley Golbus, and Hayley Flower.

See you all at the CHS cafeteria tonight at 6 PM for the Track Banquet. If you have not paid via mail you can pay at the door tonight. Athletes are free- adults $8 and all others $5.

Alison Allen has done a fantastic job with all her work to make this banquet happen- her sidekick Cheryl Morgan has provided awesome support. Thank you both!!!!

We will need help cleaning up after the banquet tonight so any volunteers will be appreciated.

Good Luck at State!

Good luck to our state meet qualifiers Friday and Saturday.
The 4×800 girls relay team runs Friday evening- Alexa Golbus, Ashley Golbus, Meredith Ussery and Hayley Flower.

Alexa Golbus runs the 3200 Saturday.

The 4×400 girls relay runs the final race of the day on Saturday- Alexis Hoeve, Breanna Cole, Briann Brummette, Hayley Flower.

Congrats to Alexa Golbus and Hayley Flower for qualifying in two events at state!

Banquet Information

If you have not mailed payment for the banquet to Alison and are planning to pay at the banquet we will have a table set up as you enter the cafeteria to check off prepaid and accept payment.We also need to record the athletes who attend in order for verification to the Eagle Club who helps with the cost of the banquet on a per athlete attending basis.

Athletes do not pay- only other guests and family members.

A special thank you to Alison Allen who has worked tirelessly for a ton of hours putting together this banquet- great job Alison!!!

Morgan Weaver Sets New School Record!

Congratulations to Morgan Weaver who set a new school record at the Region meet on Monday, May 4th. Her record breaking long jump of 15 ft, 5 in replaces the previous record of 14 ft 10.5 in set in 2007 by Erika Cartwright. Special thanks to Brad Cox for this amazing photo taken at an earlier home meet.
