ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN TO ALL PLAYERS!
Reminder: FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE APPLICANTS AND ANYONE REQUESTING A VARIANCE MUST ATTEND A LIVE REGISTRATION EVENT.

As we continue with online registration of returning players – be advised that if you intend on applying for Financial Assistance, you may not register online.

In the event you have registered online by mistake and paid the $80 down payment, please email our registration chairperson at registration@gosyfl.com. Please send all of the participants names with their team and division. You will be placed on a list for review – but does not gauruntee your financial assistance or your spot on the roster with the team.

You must notify her immediately if you made the error of registering online or you will be denied financial assistance at the live event.

NO EXCEPTIONS.

IMPORTANT RULE CHANGES

The following rule Changes were approved during the February 8 Open Board Meeting:

PRIOR TO SENDING EMAILS TO REGISTRATION OR RULESPLEASE READ THE RULES IN THEIR ENTIRETY FOUND IN THE DOCUMENTS SECTION.

SYFL 1: Rule concerning Variances and proof of residency requirements

*If you intend on applying for a variance – you must attend a Live Registration event. Variance registrations will not be accepted online. *

Proof of residency is required for All participants to complete registration. Proof of residency includes rental agreements/utility bills/property tax forms. Any document indicating the guardian of the child resides within the zone high school.

All players are grandfathered into their teams as of the end of the 2014 season. If you are currently playing out of zone, you will not be moved based on the proof of residency. New variance rules apply to anyone requesting a variance as of teh 2015 season.

SYFL 2: Bandit Division Age requirements and Birth Certificate requirements

ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATES WILL BE REQUIRED AT WEIGH-INSCHEER WILL ALSO HAVE A STATION TO CHECK IN BIRTH CERTIFICATES. THIS APPLIES TO ALL AREAS PARTICIPATING IN THE LEAGUE.

Bandits Age – 5 and 6 year olds and 1st year 7 year olds who do not turn 8 years old during the season (7/31 – 12/31). Any first year 7 year olds turning 8 during the season will be required to play in the Maverick division. 2nd and 3rd year 7 year olds will also be required to play at the Maverick Division.
