2014 Shrine Bowl Representatives
Three will proudly represent Chapin at the 2014 Shrine Bowl. Coach Justin Gentry was selected early on to assist as a defensive coach, Jake Kea will be a student correspondent for the press and Stephen Haralambis was chosen this week as a player.

Another great week of Chapin Football as all teams grab victories!
Chapin Swimmers Shine at Dreher Invitational
Chapin swimming was back in action on September 21 at the USC Sol Blatt pool. Competing with 500 swimmers from 20 South Carolina 4A and 3A high schools, our girl swimmers placed sixth overall and our boys placed 13th. Catherine Benziewicz took top honors for Chapin with first place finishes in the 50 and 100 Free.
Other top ten individual winners for Chapin were Denise Shealy placing 6th in the 200 Free, Emily Gleaton placing 7th in the 100 Free, Warren Coppage placing 8th in the 200 IM, Alexa Ussery placing 10th in the 200 IM, Ashley Coppage placing 10th in the 500 Free, and Chris Gleaton placing 10th in the 200 Free.
Our girls A relay team with Catherine Bendziewicz, Emily Gleaton, Denise Shealy and Alexa Ussery also had top finishes, placing 3rd in the 400 Free Relay and 5th in the 200 Medley Relay.
