Good Afternoon Shark Families,
The season is winding down and we are getting ready for our awards banquet near the end of the month. I am putting together the annual slideshow and would love to include some of the great photos that you and your swimmers have taken this season. The easiest way to get them to me would be by email (please send to sarayoung06@gmail.com) but if you have them on a disk, I can take them that way as well. I need them by Tuesday, May 19th. Also don’t forget to RSVP Mrs. Delgado for the banquet.

Also, if you have a senior, please send me a few pictures of them growing up (swim pictures are always fun) so we can add those to our special senior recognition segment.

I would like to get the tech suit order out early this year. Last year we ordered the Finis Vapor and it was a great suit. The boys swam really fast in them and the suit is now one of the favorites for national and international level swimmers for men and women. Please remember that tech suits are only good for a limited number of swims as the technology is based on compression. Honestly its crazy how few swims they are really good for, for the price they are. Mrs. Shore gets the suits at a great price and far cheaper than anywhere else you can get them. Mrs Shore is checking in the price but if you are interested, please have your swimmer talk to me so we can get the order in by early next weekish.

For the Centennial Meet the release time will be at 11:45 and the bus will leave around 12:00. Please make sure your swimmer leaves the house dressed up for the away meet. I would advise that swimmers bring a lunch that day as we will have time to eat when we get there. I have also attached some info for the Palm Springs meet on Saturday. Remember that this meet is for the Varsity girls. Hope to see everyone at Centennial.

There will be the annual blood drive and Chick-fil-a Fundraiser this Saturday. We need you help to man the spinner game at Chick-fil-a. I’m looking for 9 adults to work one hour shifts that day. Its fun and a great way to interact with the community. Sharon Etz will be the point person on this and will schedule times to volunteer. Her email is etzy1000@yahoo.com. There will be hand outs today at the meet with information. Thank you and hope to see everyone today at the meet.

Please note that varsity girls do not have morning practice tomorrow or Tuesday. The varsity girls will be on a small rest for the King meet on Wednesday. I need to meet with ALL varsity girls for a mandatory meeting after school for 15 minutes before practice.
