Just wanted to give everyone a heads up for this week on the schedule. Big week with 3 games in 5 days including playing two undefeated teams!

Wed – Game at 5:45, please be there by 5:15. Coach Tony will be either be in the batting cages or in the field. We are the HOME team and we are playing on the Minors Field.

Fri – Practice at Lower Inman at 6:15 pm

Sat – Pictures at 2:45 pm and game on MAJORS field right after. We are the AWAY team. Please fill out the form before arriving at the field as it gets quite hectic. Order forms are here:

Sun – Game is at 2:30 at the Minors Field. I will be at the field around 1:45. Be there for no later than 2pm.

ALSO, please update the website on your Titan’s attendance for each game and practice. It only takes a minute and helps me plan for the day.

Great game today all around. These kids are really special. They are great ball players and very well behaved (knocking on my wood desk right now). Tomorrow’s game should be more competitive, but I’m sure our kids are up for the challenge.

Please let me know ASAP if your Titan will not be coming tomorrow. I already know Vinay and Milligan will not be there so we are down to 10.

Please be at the field no later than 4:30. I’ll probably be there closer to 4:15 if anyone wants to get extra practice in. We are at the same field tomorrow and also visitors again (3rd base dugout)

Tomorrow’s game starts at 5:45. I will try and be there at 5:15 to warm up the kids, so if work permits, please try and arrive by then as well. If anyone gets there earlier than me, please feel free to go onto the outfield and begin warming up the kids. Have all them line up and throw to you, not together.

Also, please let me know if your child will not be able to make the game asap.

Finally, candy money is due. Please give the candy money to Manisha (Team Mom) and she can give to me after the game.

Practice is cancelled again tonight due to weather.

Uniforms can be picked up at my house any time today. Each uniform is already bagged with your son’s name on it and will be on my front porch.

The parade starts at 8:30 tomorrow. They tell everyone to be there by 8, but we end up standing out in the cold for a half hour. That being said, please be there NO LATER THAN 8:15. It’s controlled chaos and we do need a few minutes to find everyone and be organized. They start the parade promptly at 8:30. Again, there is no dropoff of kids and it is being strictly enforced by the FTPD. You will need to park (try by the complex) and walk over to the school. So please give yourself extra time to ensure that your child is at the school by 8:15. Make sure your Titan is wearing sneakers not spikes and also please have him layered so his jersey is on top and not covered by a jacket/sweatshirt. They should not bring gloves/bats, etc.

Parents should be on the parade route and only coaches will be walking with the team.

Our game is at 5:45 tomorrow. I expect everyone to be at the field, no later than 5:15. This will allow us to hopefully get some work in the batting cages as well as warm up in the field when the previous game is over.

Uniforms are in; intimidating Purple shirts with purple socks and grey pants. I will be giving them out at Friday night’s practice. If you cannot attend practice on Friday, please let me know when you can pick up your uniform from my house so your child will have it for the parade on Saturday morning.

Last Friday, we spent a significant portion of the practice going over the force play as well as what to do as a baserunner if there is a popup. Please go over this with your child during the week. Once they get it, they get it, but it takes some time.

Also, please let them know that they don’t have to swing at every pitch. In Coach Pitch, they are typically taught to swing at everything, so there will be some adjustments for them. The strike zone is not just the plate; for the width: it’s the inside batter’s box to the inside of the other batter’s box, for the height: it’s basically shin to chin.

Also, as you have seen, our scrimmage is cancelled for today due to field conditions.
