Game One: Flood Ford 9 Warwick PAL 4
They lead the series, 1-0.

Flood Ford defeated Warwick PAL, 9-4, to take a 1-0 lead in their best of three series.

Chris Manzo, who started, struck out seven batters and allowed just two runs in six innings.

Devon Glenn and Yanni Fotopolous closed out the game on the bump.

Offensively for Flood, Will Mascena had three hits, scored a run and drove in two. Mason Broomfield scored two runs and Angelo Fuscarallo had a two-run single to start off the scoring for Flood.

Game One: Narragansett/South Kingstown 11 Vogie 1
They lead the series, 1-0.

Game One: Westerly 4 Cranston 1
They lead the series, 1-0.

Led by the stellar pitching of Dean Pons Jr. and the hitting of Luke McAllister, Westerly beat Cranston, 4-1, in game one.

Pons, who went the distance, struck out eleven batters.

Offensively, Luke McAllister hit a two-run home run in the top of the first inning and Drew Pearson had two hits and two rbi’s.

Game One: West Warwick 3 Chariho 1
They lead the series, 1-0.

Backed by an opportunistic offense, Logan Dean and Dominic Carollo led West Warwick to a 3-1 win over Chariho.

Dean, who picked up his second playoff victory, struck out ten batters and allowed just one unearned run in five innings of work.

Meanwhile, Carollo closed the game by striking out four batters without allowing a hit in two innings of relief for his second save in two days.

Chariho starter Andrew Smith pitched well for the Chargers. In six innings of work, struck out five, allowed two hits and did not allow an earned run.

Down 1-0 in the bottom of the fifth inning, WWCM scored two unearned runs (Logan Dean and Nick Brown) on two walks and three errors.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, Calvin Battersby walked, stole two bases and scored on an errant throw to give WW a 3-1 lead.

Game Two: West Warwick 9 East Providence 8
West Warwick wins series, 2-0

Down 8-3 after four innings, West Warwick came from behind to defeat East Providence, 9-8. The win advanced them to the quarterfinals.

WWCM cut the Knights’ lead to 8-5 in the top of the fifth inning when Logan Dean (lead-off single) and Zack Lawrence (single) scored on an error and a Quinn Kortick groundout.

After cutting the lead to 8-6 in the sixth, they scored three runs on two errors, one walk and rbi hits by Kortick and Calvin Battersby (two-run single) in the seventh.

Dominic Carollo struck out two batters and induced one pop out with runners at second and third to pick up the save.

East Providence, who received twelve walks, received hits from B. Fuller (1/2, two runs scored), C. Loureano ((1/3, one run scored and one rbi), J. and Paulino (1/4).

Game Three: Chariho 11 Smithfield 5
Chariho wins series, 2-1.

Game Two: Warwick PAL 2 LaSalle Rams 1
Warwick PAL wins series, 2-0.

Bobby Court threw a complete game three-hitter to lead Warwick to a 2-1 win over Lasalle.

Tyler Cote had two hits and one rbi and Matt Colvin drove in the other run to lead Warwick’s offense.

Game Two: Chariho 2 Smithfield 0
Series tied at 1-1. Game Three at Smithfield (5:30) tomorrow night.

Game Two: West Warwick at East Providence
Suspended Game in top of the seventh inning with WW leading, 9-8. The completion of the game will be played at McCarthy Field tomorrow night at 5:30. If East Providence wins, game three will be played right after.
