Connor Kennedy and Noah Sullivan combined on a three-hitter leading Flood Ford Auto past Warwick PAL, 4-0, for their fifth straight win.

Xavier Quezada was 2 for 2 with a walk 2 runs scored while Chris Manzo, Owen Leahy, Jack Hornstein and Ben Picone each drove in a run for Flood.

Led by the solid pitching of Calvin Battersby, West Warwick edged the Knights of East Providence, 3-2.

Battersby, who went the distance, allowed two runs on five hits and struck out seven batters.

JJ Duclos pitched equally will for the Knights, allowing just two earned runs on six hits while striking out five.

After taking a 1-0 lead in the top of the second inning on two errors, West Warwick extended their lead to 3-0 in the third inning with two runs when Quinn Kortick reached on a fielder’s choice, stole second, move to third on an infield hit by Sean White and scored on a balk. White, who stole second and advanced to third on the balk, scored on Kyle DaSilva’s grounder to short.

East Providence scored a run in the bottom half of the third inning, when Dan Famer reached on an infield hit, advanced to second on a wild pitch and scored on an rbi single to right field by Tyler Botelho.

In the fourth inning, the Knights cut it to 3-2 when Matt Borden doubled, moved to third on a groundout to first base by Rob Lincoln and scored on a JJ Duclos grounder to short.

Chris Manzo scattered four hits and struck out nine to lead Flood Ford over East Greenwich, 4-3. In addition, Manzo, led the offense with two doubles and one run batted in.

Dan Prior was outstanding on the mound for the Avengers, scattering six hits.

Flood Auto exploded for a 12 run 5th inning to break a 5 – 5 tie for the win.

Keith Daigneau picked up the victory by striking out four in 2 2/3 innings of scoreless relief. Yiannis Fotopoulos earned the save.

Christian Butera (3/4 triple, 2 doubles), Owen Leahy, Chris Manzo, Blake Lukens, and Connor Kennedy each had two hits pacing the 16 hit attack.

Led by the complete game two-hit effort of Dayton VanAmberg, Vogie of MT. Hope defeated the Lions of Narraganset/South Kingstown, 3-2.
