Led by the solid pitching of Zack Bianco, who pitched 4 2/3 innings of scoreless ball and Tyler McNamara, who pitched the last 1 2/3 innings of scoreless relief, Narragansett/South Kingstown picked up their first win of the year, 8-5, over Warwick PAL.

Offensively, the Lions were led by Tyler Porier (three hits), Aidan Kielty (2 rbi’s), Colin Masseur (one double) and James Marsella (one double).

Tiverton won their second game of the year over Coventry, 11-1.

Led by strong pitching on both sides of the diamond, West Warwick and East Greenwich settled for a 0-0 tie after ten innings of play.

Lefty Max Morton pitched all ten innings for the home team, allowing just three hits and striking out 11 batters. Out of 104 pitches, he threw 74 strikes.

Ty Condon, who started for West Warwick, struck out seven batters and allowed just two hits in five innings of work. Out of 64 pitches, he threw 44 strikes. Alex Pedus struck out seven batters and scattered three hits in his five innings of work.

Offensively, the Avengers received hits from Owen Drolet, Jack Matus, Ryan McCauley, Josh Land and Evan Greenberg.

West Warwick was led by Kyle DaSilva (2/4, 2 stolen bases) and Quinn Kortick (bunt single).
