Chariho defeated Slocum Baseball, 6-3, in their league opener!
Leading the way for Chariho were Justin Giles (3/3 with one rbi), Josh Smithy (rbi), Mark Wightman (rbi) and Alan Carpenter (rbi).
On the mound, Jack Kenser started the game and pitching three solid innings. Johnny Pelligrino pitched three innings of middle relief, facing only 9 hitters. Anthony Fusaro closed the game with a 1-2-3 seventh inning.
