Harry Gowl got creative and did some analysis on the ages of OTS players. Here's his perspective:

1. The average age of OTS players is 68.7 years as of their 2014 birth dates.

2. The total age of the group at 11,818 years stretches to before the end of the last ice age.

3. The Hebrew calendar only began 5574 years ago.

4. The pyramids at Giza are a mere 4573 years old.

5. Alexander the Great conquered the known world fairly recently at 2659 years ago.

6. Julius Caesar had his bad day at the Forum just the other day at 2047 years ago.

7. Columbus discovered America last week at 521 years ago.

8. The American Civil War (or the War for Southern Independence, as I like to call it) ended this morning or 148 years ago.

From the above, I draw three conclusions:

1. We may be getting old.

2. I should not have had that second Bloody Mary (Queen Mary I, reigned 1553-8, or Friday, at 455 years ago) with brunch.

3. I am within months of being the exact average age.

REGISTRATION AT THE BOWLING ALLEY ONLY

REGISTRATION STARTS AT 11:30

BOWLING STARTS AT 12:00

Registration is only $20 and includes 3 games of bowling and a door prize ticket.

Bring your own 3-person team, or just show up and be assigned to a team at the lanes. Both men and women are welcome. Scores will be handicap-based.

Prizes will also be awarded for Individual High Game, Individual High Series and Team High Series as well as a special prize for Individual Low Game (a 1-hour lesson by Millsboro Lanes own Jim Conway).

Enter the 50/50 to take a chance at winning a cash prize or a Digital Binocular Camera donated by North Bay Marina.

There are no early sign-ups - all registrations will be at the lanes. If you're planning to attend, send Eddie Sternberg an email at eddiedabowler@aol.com so he can get some idea of how many will be there.
