Good afternoon TMHA family,

TMHA is pleased to announce a new hockey development initiative (Skills Sessions). These Skills Sessions are designed to accelerate and further the development of our young athletes. The Skills Sessions are being hosted by TMHA in partnership with “Discover Fitness with Kate Durst Inc. and Discover Performance with Lisa Tremblay”.

The Skills Sessions are being staffed by qualified powerskating, hockey skills and goaltending instructors from “Discover Fitness with Kate Durst Inc. and Discover Performance with Lisa Tremblay”.

There will be a maximum of sixteen (16) skaters and four (4) goalies allowed on the ice during each Skills Session.

Skills Sessions have been scheduled on the dates shown below:

Tier 2 – Peewee & Bantam
Tuesday October 22nd , 2019 – 8:30-9:30pm at the Sportsplex
Tuesday November 19th , 2019 – 8:30-9:30pm at the Sportsplex
Tuesday December 17th , 2019 – 8:30-9:30pm at the Sportsplex
Tuesday January 28th , 2020 – 8:30-9:30pm at the Sportsplex

Tier 2 – Novice & Atom
Monday November 11th, 2019 – 4-5pm at the Mountjoy
Monday December 2nd , 2019 – 4-5pm at the Mountjoy
Monday January 6th , 2020 – 4-5pm at the Mountjoy
Monday February 3rd , 2020 – 4-5pm at the Mountjoy

More sessions may be added as the season moves forward.

This is a reminder that the registration for the skills sessions, being offered by TMHA, will be open for registration at 9am on Friday, October 18th, 2019. Registrations will remain open until 5pm on Sunday, October 20th , 2019.

TMHA asks that all players/parents that are interested in attending the skills sessions please register during the time period mentioned above.

The fee for the Skills Sessions will be $10 per player (TMHA is subsidizing 30 to 50% of the costs). The fee is payable at the rink to “Discover Fitness with Kate Durst Inc. and Discover Performance with Lisa Tremblay”.

Your respective coaching staff will be charged with managing a schedule for your team to ensure that every player that has registered is given the opportunity to attend as many sessions as possible throughout the season.
