Babe Ruth Hobe Sound

Martin County has closed all baseball fields at Wojo until Monday. Because of Hurricane Dorian all baseball fields will be closed for maintenance until Sept. 9. Teams will be chosen and players will be notified by coaches on practice dates over the weekend. Practices will start the week of Sept. 9th.

Due to these trying circumstances of the last two weeks we are forced to adapt to make teams and get ready for games to be played starting Sept. 21.

Thank you for all your understanding and continued support during difficult times this fall. Let’s get ready to PLAY BALL!!

Registration is still open! Evaluations next week depending on the weather and field conditions.

Good morning Coaches and Parents,

Last nights heavy rain and our fields are already wet and the pending forecast of afternoon storms to include the hurricane the board has decided to move evaluations until next week. The schedule is posted below and we appreciate your understanding as safety of our MCMB players, coaches and families is very important to us.

9/3/19 Rookie and Minors Evaluations @ 6pm
9/4/19 Majors Evaluations at 6pm
9/5/19 Draft (for coaches of rookie, minors, majors only) You will receive an email from Ric with times.

It’s time to get back into the swing of things at the ball field. We have a lot going on this week to kick off the fall season.

Monday 8/26/19- Registration in person at Wojo Park from 6p-8p

**Registration closing tomorrow night at midnight

Wednesday 8/28/19- Tryouts for Rookies & Minors at Wojo 6pm

Thursday 8/29/19- Tryouts for Majors at Wojo 6pm

No tryouts for Babe Ruth 13/15

When arriving for tryouts please check in at the concession and send your player to the dugout with bat, glove and bottle water.

Tball Parents:

No tryouts for tball you will be contacted by your coach next week. The coach will advise of practice day and time. All players will need to have white pants for games. For practice they only need cleats, baseball glove and bat.

Rookies, Minors, Majors & Babe Ruth

Coaches will be contacting you next weekend of your practice days and times. All players will need white baseball pants for games. Molded cleats for Rookie, Minors, Majors and Babe Ruth are permitted to wear spikes & turf shoes.

Practices will begin the week of 9/3/19!
