Here’s a much happier message. :)

Bob and I are inviting the entire team (kids and parents) to celebrate Phil’s birthday after our game on Saturday. I have reserved the breakfast area at the hotel from 19h00 to 21h00 , we will cover pizza, water bottles, veggie and fruit tray for all. We are trying to make it a surprise, therefore if your players knows , please let them know to not spill the beans. lol

RSVP: by Feb 5th, 2020 (how many guests and pizza slices)

Hi everyone,
Just a quick note on recent information received from Microtel manager in Val D’Or. Due to recent problems at the hotel regarding hockey teams and parents’ late night “gatherings”, the hotel has set up stricter rules. Please be advised that there will be a security guard at the hotel to reinforce that there will be no alcohol drinking in the hallways or breakfast area. All big group gathering in hallways or rooms will not be authorized. The group will be advised and then sanctioned if it doesn’t change (they reserve the right to cancel your reservation). Microtel has had to refund many guests last week due to extreme noise making from hockey teams (parent and players) and they are unwilling to continue in the same direction. Please feel free to contact the hotel directly if you have comments or if you need more information on the situation.
I am counting on all of us to continue respecting our host hotel and wish all a great hockey weekend.
