Sudbury Passion for Ringette Bursary
Applications are now being accepted for the Passion for Ringette Bursary!
Four (4) – $250 bursaries are available for the 2019/20 season.
Eligibility:
• All players registered in U10 and above
Recipient Selection:
• Demonstrated financial need
• Demonstrated player/family passion for ringette
The Sudbury Ringette Association Passion for Ringette Bursary has been made possible by a donation to the Sudbury Ringette Association for the 2019/20 season. The bursary will be awarded to a player/family with demonstrated financial need who has also shown a passion for ringette. This passion must be demonstrated by involvement in the sport of ringette that helps to promote and support our sport.
Applicants may apply by submitting a personal letter. The letter should outline the basis of the financial need as well as describe how they have demonstrated a passion for ringette in recent years.
The application deadline is November 1st, 2019. Applications can be submitted via email to ringettemom79@gmail.com.
The Executive members of the Sudbury Ringette Association will review applications and select eligible recipients. The bursary is available to members of the Executive and their family members. However, if a member of the Executive or their family member has made an application for the bursary, they may not be a part of the selection committee. Proof of financial need may be requested at the discretion of the Executive.
