State Tournaments wrapped up...
The last couple of State Champions were crowned in their respective divisions. The following teams are the 2010 Little League State Champions in their respective divisions:
Softball: Major- Swampscott, Junior- Grafton, Senior- Winchendon
Baseball: 11 yr old-Pittsfield South, Major- Southboro, Junior- Stoneham, Senior- Oxford

Baseball State Finals set for Lowell's LaLacheur Park...
Stoneham will take on Auburn in the Junior Baseball division while Gloucester and Oxford will face off in the Senior division.
Teams advance to State Finals in Softball divisions...
Jesse Burkett of Worcester and Swampscott win their sections in the Major division, Grafton and Sandwich in the Junior division while Winchendon and Wakefield take their sections in the Senior division. All teams will take part in the Softabll State Finals in Worcester July 23-25.
Sectional Tournaments underway...
As Districts tournaments wrap up, team across the State move on to their Sectional levels. All Softball and upper level Baseball divisions began their section games this past weekend. Section and State brackets are posted in the Tournaments area on this site.
Leagues preparing for summer Little League Jimmy Fund program...
This Program enables Little Leaguers (2010 league ages 8-12) to continue playing baseball & softball after the conclusion of the regular season. For more information , please check the 'Jimmy Fund' link on the left.

Massachusetts well represented at Little League Congress... Seventy-Five percent of the Mass Districts were represented in Kentucky for triennial event. Discussion and voting took place on several agenda items which resulted in 10 new rule changes many focused of Softball. Two of our own were recognized for their service to the program. George Berardi was honored for his fifty years as a District Administrator becoming only the second in the history of the program to do so. John Berardi was selected from the East Region to receive the Commendation Award. More details here...Volunteers Honored |

Challenger programs growing in Mass...
The Challenger Division of Little League is a program for mentally and physically challenged youth, helping them to enjoy the full benefits of Little League participation in an athletic environment structured to their abilities.

Longtime District Administrator Stan Brown passes away...
It is with tremendous sadness that we announce that District Administrator, Stan Brown, has passed away. This is a great loss not only to Stan's family, but to Little League baseball in Massachusetts. He was involved with Little League for 58 years, first as a founding coach with Danvers Little League, and then for the last 48 years as district administrator of District 15. more on story...

Great job Jim !!! Massachusetts own Jim Haibon selected to umpire home plate in Bristol for the Mid-Atlantic Championship game Monday August 17th 8pm (ESPN2). Jim has done a terrific job during the tournament in Bristol and earned himself the selection. |
No-Hitter in Senior Regionals...
Congratulations to Michael Mussafer of Weston, Mass. on throwing the first no-hitter in Senior Baseball regional play at West Deptford,NJ -- 19 years, 317 games. Accomplished it on Monday, August 10th in a 2-0 win over Brooklyn-Killingly, CT.

11 year old and Major Baseball finals come to a close....
Barnstable National defeated Weston to take the 11 year old Championship.
Peabody West defetaed Newton Central to take the Major League Championship.
We congratulate all the teams in participating and thanks to Beverly Litttle League for being a great State Championship Host.
Baseball Junior & Senior State finals come to a close...
Juniors (14) & Seniors (16) State finals finished up in Lowell (LaLacheur Park).
Quincy takes 2 of 3 against North Reading for the Juniors State final.
Weston also needed the deciding against Seekonk for the Seniors State final.
We congratulate all the teams in participating and thank the Lowell Spinners and the City of Lowell for the the terrific venues provided!

Softball State Finals wrap up in Worcetser...
Jesses Burkett took two straight games from Wakefield for the State title in the Major Softball division.
Another Jesses Burkett team took two straight games from Sandwich to caputre the State title in the Junior division.
Salem defeated Winchendon in the third an ddeciding game for the State title in the Senior division.
All three teams will repesent Massachusetts in the respective East Regionals.
Congratulations to all teams partipating this year and to Worcester Jesse Burkett for once again hosting another terrific tournament!
2009 Junior & Senior Baseball State Finals in Lowell's LaLacheur Park, home of the Spinners...
The State Finals will be held July 25th & 26th with possible rubber games on the 27th. The games will open up Saturday July 25th at LaLacheur park, home of the Red Sox affiliate Lowell Spinners. Come on out and watch some quality baseball at a terrific venue!

Junior & Senior baseball State Finals to be held at LaLacheur Park in Lowell, home of the Res Sox affiliate, Lowell Spinners. The section winners in each division will face off Saturday, July 25th at Lalacheur park. Game two for each will on Sunday, July 26th at Aluni Park also in Lowell. Game three (if necessary) will be back at Lalacheu Park on Monday, July 27th.
