JQH Arena

Posted by Patrick Dailey at Feb 12, 2006 4:00PM PST ( 0 Comments )
On Friday, January 10th, John Q. Hammons
gave a gift of $25 million to Missouri State
University towards a new $60 million on
campus arena. To be titled 'JQH Arena,' it'll
have at least 12,000 seats, 20-25 sky boxes
with another 500 seats, a private club, and
it will house the MSU Sports Hall of Fame.
On a personal note, I've been working on this
sort of thing for over fifteen years with letters
and emails to every possible city leader. So,
this is the most thrilling event possible, expect
for Glendale winning the Class 5 State Title!

The Glendale Falcons will be able to play in the
facility for the OC-COC Chevy Shootout in
November of 2008, the Blue & Gold Tournament,
starting in December 2009, possible
Glendale-Kickapoo matchups, and future
appearances in the Tournament of Champions
.
