Steve Hesser - Oklahoma Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame
Current Drury University and Former Glendale
High head coach Steve Hesser has been elected
to the Oklahoma Basketball Coaches Association
Hall of Fame. Coach Hesser spent 17 years in the
Sooner state as a head coach, including an outstanding
147-47 record in seven seasons at Bartlesville
High. His Bruin teams won Oklahoma Class 6-A
State Titles in 1989, 1991, & 1992.
At Glendale, Coach Hesser's teams won the 2001
Ozark Conference title, the 2003 Class 5, District
11 title, placed 3rd at the 2002 Tournament of
Champions, and upset #2 Kickapoo at Poo in a
major victory! Hesser ended his career at
Glendale with a strong 97-39 record (best
winning % in GHS history) and added a defensive
toughness to our great tradition.
