READ THIS Before You Buy A Bat For Holidays

Posted by Ken Cicalo on Nov 27 2012 at 04:00PM PST in Spring 2016
If you have a player who will be league age 11 or older in 2013, we recommend that you NOT put a new bat on your holiday list.

With the advent of the new Intermediate Division, Little League has announced that they are working with other organizations to come up with new bat rules for the Intermediate and Juniors divisions.

As of now, last year’s Juniors bat rules apply to both of these divisions, but we expect to get updated information sometime after the first of the year. As soon as we get that information, we will get it on our website, Facebook page, and out to all our managers and coaches in those divisions.

So for now, think about cleats, batting gloves, gear bags, gloves or batting helmets if you are looking to include something baseball-related on that holiday wish list.

We do not expect any significant changes for the younger divisions, so if you have a child 10-years-old or younger, last year’s bat regulations should still apply.
