FINAL TRYOUT JAN. 23 – SIGN UP NOW!
With our final tryout this Saturday, we'll soon be forming teams, practicing and looking forward to Opening Day of our 60th Anniversary season!
But you still have a last chance to get your kid signed up. We'll be back at Cadman Park on Saturday, January 23, and if your child is 7 or older, they must tryout that day. See below for the complete tryout schedule.
Thanks to the generosity of our fine sponsors, we can again offer the biggest bargain in youth sports, with registration fees as low as just $48 per child! Yes, we’re still asking you to do our easy candy fundraiser or make a $60 buyout, but if you choose to sell three boxes of candy, you can really get your kid into a full season of fun, safe, Little League baseball for a net cost of only $48! Or, you can sell two boxes of candy and your registration fee is just $68. But don’t procrastinate, because once the candy is gone, you’ll have to pay a full $128 to sign up.
We will also collect a Volunteer Deposit of $50 per child up to $100. We will ask that you provide six hours of volunteer time for each child you have in the program. These hours can be accumulated by working in the snack bar (3 hrs per shift), umpiring (3 hrs per game), field maintenance, coaching, scorekeeping, team parents, helping with special events like Opening Day, and many other ways. Once you have volunteered your hours, your deposit will be returned. Look for the Volunteer table at signups for all the details.
Any child who will be 4-years-old by August 31, 2016 (but not yet 19-years-old), is eligible to play Little League Baseball this year. Come to registration with an original birth certificate for each child, along with three proofs of residency. You will need to fill out an application and medical release for each player you sign up. To save time at signups, click on the “Handout” at the end of this article and look for “2016 Season Forms.” Download the application and medical release, fill them out, and bring them with you on December 12. If you are interested in coaching, you should also fill out and bring the Volunteer Application.

7-year-olds: 9 a.m., South field8-year-olds: 10:30 a.m., South field
9-year-olds: 12 noon, South field
10-year-olds: 1:30 p.m., South field
11-year-olds: 9 a.m., Padres field
12-year-olds: 10:30 a.m., Padres field
13 & 14-year-olds: 12 noon, North field (Jan. 16 & 23 only)
