News and Announcements

Monday, November 3, Kyle Chapman lost Ted Harris, a dear and close member of our family. Ted Harris served as President, World Series coach, and most recently put his heart and soul into making our field and league the best place in the country to play Pony Baseball. Ted enjoyed teaching baseball to thousands of players who stepped between the chalk lines at the Kyle Chapman field. He spent hundreds, perhaps thousands, of hours tending to the fields, helping out at practices, and patiently assisting our kids to become the best ballplayers that they could, always with a supportive word and a warm smile. Ted also helped out with coaching at Westbury High School. Our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones at this difficult time. He will be dearly missed and remembered. Memorial Service for Ted Harris will be on Friday, November 7, 2003 at 2:00 pm at Earthman Funeral Home, 6700 Ferris Street, Bellaire. Telephone number is 713-667-6505.
