The Road Traveled by Little League All-Stars:

 Did you know that there are 5 levels in the All-Star Tournament? The first level is District. The second level is Sections. The third level is Divisions. In Southern California, since there are many leagues, Little League has divided Southern California in half and have 2 tournaments called Sub-Divisions. After Divisions are Regional's and finally the World Series. The lower divisions, 9/10's and 10/11's end their tournaments at the Divisional Level.  

Section 6 All-Star Tournament

The next level in the All-Star Tournament is the Section Tournament. We are in Section 6, which includes the following Districts: District 31, District 32, District 33 and District 70. All District winners face each other in a double elimination tournament. Below is information for each division. Brackets will be updated by the host District during the tournament.

9/10's All Star Tournament Information  

District Our District tournament runs June 25th - July 14th. The winner of the District tournament advances to Sectional level.  

Section We are in Section 6, which includes the following Districts: District 31, District 32, District 33 and District 70. The games will be played July 16th - July 21st. District 70 will be hosting the games in Oceanside area. The winner of this tournament will advance to the Divisional level.  

Southern California Division (State) California Division III is made up of Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10. Southern California has been divided into two sub-divisions. We are in the South and that includes sections 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10. All Sectional winners play in a sub-division July 23rd – July 28th. The games are hosted by District 72 in the Corona area.  The winner of the sub-division will advance to play a best two out of three with the northern sub-division winner from July 30th through August 1st. District 72 will also host the sub-division playoff.   This tournament ends at this level.

10/11's All Star Tournament Information

Little League (11-12’s) All Star Tournament Information

District We host a double elimination tournament with the 7 Little League teams that are in our District. The District tournament runs June 25th - July 14th. The winner of the District 70 tournament advances to Sectional level.  

Section We are in Section 6, which includes the following Districts: District 31, District 32, District 33 and District 70. The games will be played July 16th - July 21st. District 31 is hosting the games in the Escondido area. The winner of this tournament will advance to the Divisional level.  

Southern California Division (State) California Division III is made up of Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10. Southern California has been divided into two sub-divisions. We are in the South and that includes sections 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10. Sectional winners will play in the sub-division from July 23rd - July 28th. District 62 will host this sub-division Orange County area. The winner of the sub-division will advance to play a best two out of three with the northern sub-division winner from July 30th through August 1st. District 19 in West Covina, Ca. will host the sub-division playoff. The winner of this playoff will advance to the Western Regional level.  

Western Region 2 Divisional winners and the 4 State Champions will play August 5th - August 13th in San Bernardino. The winner will advance to the Little League World Series.  

Little League World Series 8 US Regional winners and 8 International winners play August 18th - August 28th in the Little League World Series in Williamsport Pennsylvania.

SPRING BASEBALL REGISTRATION

Spring registration will start this Saturday, November 14th at the VNLL fields from 10 am - 2 pm.  There will be another registration on November 21st at the same place and time.
