  Archdiocese of Boston - CYO Athletics - 2010 - 2011

1. Registration Fee and Forms: $50 per team  - Check must be brought to League Meeting on Oct. 14 

2. Checks for the Arch. Registration Fee are to be made payable to: ONE (Office for New Evangelization)

3. The forms can be found on the CYO website: www.oymboston.org under CYO Basketball. Be sure you print out the "School Forms". Reminder: Principal must sign form(s).

 4. Fr. Matt Williams, Arch. Youth Director and Peter Williams, Arch. A.D. will be giving a short presentation before our League Meeting and all Registration Fees will be collected.

5. Teams, who do not pay the registration fee on Oct. 14th, will not be able to schedule any games until the Registration Fee is paid.

2010 League Meeting - Thurs., Oct. 14 @ 7:00pm

Place: Malden Catholic High School 

Essentials for the night of the Meeting:

          *** Arch. Registration Fee and Forms (see previous notice)***

         1. Assigner's Fee: $65.00 per team  Checks payable to: Phil Beranger (Late Fee of $20 will be assessed if not paid @ meeting)

         2. Team Rosters/"Code of Conduct" - these may be mailed as long as received by Monday, Nov. 1 (Phil Beranger c/o St. Joseph School, 90 Pickering St., Needham, MA 02492) 

         3. Availabilty of Your Gym - Games will be scheduled - Be sure to check with your principal regarding Catholic Schools Week and Special Events

         Letter and copies of "Code of Conduct" will be mailed to your schools the week of Oct. 4th - be sure to check with your principal

Adults: $4.00    Students: $2.00    (No Charge for Coaches and players)

     Semi-Finals: Doors will open at 6:00 pm both nights

          Tuesday, March 2nd - Senior Division

             7:30 pm  St. Joseph, Med.  vs  St. Patrick

          Wednesday, March 3rd - Junior Division

Born in Malden, MA on Sep. 28, 1950
Departed on Feb. 16, 2010 and resided in Melrose, MA.

James H. "Jim" D'Entremont Jr. passed away suddenly at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, on Tuesday, February 16th at the age of 59. He was born in Malden, raised in Medford, graduated from Medford High School in 1968 and Suffolk University in Boston. Jim has been a resident of Melrose for the past 22 years and has been extremely involved with the community. He has been a longtime member of St. Mary's Church where he participated on the parish council, was the coordinator of altar servers and was a Eucharistic Minister. Mr. D'Entremont has coached girls basketball at St. Mary's School for the past 6 years and was a Melrose Youth Soccer coach for 10 years. Jim worked as a salesman for Riverside Pipe & Supply Company for several years, the Eljer Company for 20 years and the past 7 years at AKR Company of CT. He was a gentleman with a big heart, a great sense of humor, an avid Boston sports fan and enjoyed golfing. Jim was the devoted father of James H. D'Entremont III and Katie Lee D'Entremont both of Melrose. Loving son of Janet (Bernardi) D'Entremont of Medford and the late James H. D'Entremont Sr. Beloved brother of Denise Rose D'Entremont of Medford. Also survived by many nieces, nephews & friends. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Monday Feb. 22nd at 9AM. Funeral Mass in Jim's memory will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church, Herbert St. Melrose, at 10AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours Sunday from 2:00-8:00PM. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the D'Entremont Family Fund, in care of Melrose Cooperative Bank, 638 Main St. Melrose, 02176.
