SUMMER BASEBALL CAMP: JULY 24 - 26TH
SUMMER BASEBALL CAMP
The Bullpen Baseball School will be hosting a Summer Baseball Camp in coordination with Vancouver Minor Baseball.
Age : 9 to 12 years of age
Date : July 24 - 26
Time : 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon
Place : Nanaimo Park
Cost : $120.00 (3-day camp)
This camp will be held to a maximum of 16 students as we have found in the past that the smaller camp sizes are able to provide a greater amount of instruction to each individual player. There will be a minimum of two instructors attending each day as well.
AGENDA
The players will be split into two teams and have designated coaches for each group.
Topics Covered:
* Hitting (make more consistent contact, also hit for more power) |
* Situational Plays (rundowns, cut-offs, relays & why they are so important) |
* Pitching (better control, how to throw for more velocity) |
* Many Different Drills (to practice what is being shown) |
* Fielding (the importance of body mechanics, how to play each position better) |
|
The reason for the two groups is to play real games on the last two days for 30 minutes.
