*****SOLD OUT *****
Alameda Little League Fireworks Night at the Oakland A's is SOLD OUT.

Alameda Little League Fireworks Night at the Oakland A's is scheduled for Friday, June 13. Make plans to join 1000 of your closest friends as the A's host the New York YANKEES! Fireworks and the Yankees! How did we get these tickets? Fans can watch the fireworks from the field after the game. This is a Friday game with a start time of 7:05. This is a great event and everyone has a great time. Seat location is the Plaza Reserved level in Mt. Davis and we sell out the entire area. The game will also probably sell out.

Players and managers attending the game receive free tickets. All others pay $12. Tickets are limited to 25 per team and go on a first come first serve basis. We will not be able to get additional tickets from the A's. Once these 1000 are gone, they are gone. Let your manager know immediately if you plan on attending. Managers will collect payment and distribute tickets to their teams.

May 18 Cal Bears Game Traffic Advisory

Posted by Paul Skuta at May 14, 2014 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )

Please note that there are graduation activities Sunday at Cal. Due to increase traffic expect delays and parking difficulties. The League has been advised by the Cal representative to recommend families take BART. If you are driving here are the suggestions:

- Berkeley Way Lot near University & Shattuck
- Genetics Lot at the end of University Ave under Genetics bldg
- Street meters near downtown Berkeley

The league encourage everyone to carpool, or take BART to downtown Berkeley. It's only a 6 minute walk to Evans Diamond from BART.

To players and parents of fall 2014 13U and 14U players:

The Alameda Attack fall baseball program has determined that we will not be running a 13U or 14U program this fall(age based on players age on April 30, 2015).

Both the Neptune Beach and the Alameda Baseball Academy programs have decided to run fall baseball programs for this age group. We do not believe that there is room for three separate fall programs in Alameda for these age groups, having run programs at this age for the last six years. Therefore, we are dropping our 13U and 14U programs, and encourage you to participate in the program of your choice.

The Attack WILL continue to run programs for the 9U through 12U age groups this fall and in the future. We look forward to fielding teams in all of those age groups in 2014.

Attack tryouts are scheduled for Sunday, JUNE 8 (new date) at the Alameda Little League fields. Makeup tryouts are on July 12. Please see the below flyer for times.

Thank you for your support over the last 6 years. The Attack was founded as a complement to Alameda Little League and Alameda Babe Ruth to provide an opportunity for Alameda kids to play competitive fall travel ball on teams from Alameda at a point in time when there were no other fall teams based here. We believe we have accomplished that goal, and as a result, these other organizations have started their own programs and will carry this tradition forward for these older age groups. The Attack will continue to serve Alameda players from ages 8 through 12. We are happy that Alameda players will continue to have the opportunity to play on Alameda-based teams through these programs.

See you at tryouts or on the diamond!
