OLD NCLL ANGEL PAGE
The NCLL Angel Program
In 2008, the Banducci Family made a large donation to the league in honor of their late husband & father Pete Banducci. He was tragically stricken with the disease ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), more commonly referred to as “Lou Gerhig’s Disease”.
Due in large part to this generous contribution, NCLL was able build our batting cages. The idea for this contribution came from Pete himself, as he wanted to provide a way for his family to give their support to the league they so loved and enjoyed.
To honor the generosity of Pete and the Banducci Family, NCLL made a donation to Ride for Life www.rideforlife.com, an organization that raises money, assists in ALS research for finding a cure, and supports families that have been touched by this horrible disease. With this donation, Ride for Life supplied us with Angel Pins.
We will be giving these Angel Pins to people in NCLL who display extra effort or show special compassion here during the season. This will be a new way for us to celebrate the volunteer spirit that NCLL is known for, and allow us to honor Pete as the very special person who stepped up in such a big way for all the players who play in this league.
Nominate your special NCLL Angel Today!
• Look for the Angel Nomination Box in the Snack Shack.
• From these nominations, we will recognize special people in this very special way.
• A recognition board will be on display at the NCLL Fields where pin recipients will be listed as NCLL Angels, along with a description of their generous deeds.

Parking at NCLL
NCLL PARKING REMINDER
The NCLL parking lot at the end of Orangewood is for general vehicle parking. DO NOT PARK in front of the black access gate leading to the fields and batting cages or the area adjacent to the gate entrance blocked by cones. This area must remain clear to allow for the passage of Emergency Vehicles in the event of an emergency. Please do not park or drop off passengers beyond the gate. Only Board members and vehicles with a valid handicap placard are allowed to park inside the gated area. Also, the apartment complex next to the field is off-limits. Their spaces are reserved for their tenants. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
We will be putting up cones and blocking off the area around the black access gate. Please send out a message to your teams reminding them not to park in front of or directly adjacent to the gate. Once the cones are in place, please ask your parents not to move them in order to park in this area.
