Seniors Run Comes to an End
The NCLL Senior All Stars had to settle for second place in the World as the lost 9 to 7 in the championship game of the 2009 Senior League World Series.
Congratulations to an amazing team that has given NCLL so much late summer excitement. We are very proud of this team.

NCLL Will Be the Number 1 Seed in Semi-Finals
NCLL Wins 3rd Straight game in the Senior League World Series
It took 12 innings but Niles came out on top of Canada winning 6 to 3. NCLL got a clutch hit in the top of the 12th from Casey Jennings to drive in 3 runs that turned out to be the game winner. NCLL was up 2 to 1 going into the bottom of the 7th but Canada sored a run to tie it up and send the game to extra innings. There was no scoring in the 8th and 9th innings. NCLL scored 1 in the top of the 10th on errors by Canada only to have Canada come back in the bottom of the Inning to tie it up. Then in the top of the 12th NCLL loaded the bases and Jennings hit a double to drive in all three runners on base.
NCLL now gets a well deserved day off before playing the Host team form Maine District 3 on Thursday. The game is at 2:00 PM PST
