News and Announcements

To all-
As STBSA has done in the past, we will be requiring all Managers, Coaches, Concession and Dugout personnel to complete a background check and a concussion course to participate as a volunteer for our league.
The league is appreciative of all our parents’ volunteer time, however the safety and well-being of our players is our highest priority. Anyone volunteering must have these completed by March 15th. The concussion course link is below and is good for 3 years. For the background check, we would need a First, Middle and Last name, social security number, home address, and email.
The background information can be sent to my email at ffokar@aol.com or text to my cell at 234-855-5550. You can also bring this information to the manager meeting if you would prefer or call with this information at your convenience.
Thank you.
Marty Rakoff
STBSA League President

Springfield Township Baseball and Softball Association is a non-profit, all volunteer organization which provides supervised baseball and softball programs to the youth of our community. Our main objective is to present to them the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for others so they may be well adjusted, stronger and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens. We are asking that you support us in our efforts.
The following page illustrates how different levels of support provide a platform that recognizes your organization as a supporter of youth sports and of the community you operate in.
We hope you agree that support of the STBSA is a benefit to both the youth of our community and your organization. We thank you in advance for your time and generosity.

STBSA is holding our second annual winery fundraiser at Emerine Estates Winery on Saturday, August 28th from 5PM to midnight. The address of the winery is 5689 Loveland Rd, Jefferson, OH 44047. The winery offers food and drink for all to enjoy the evening and will donate 100 percent of the profits to STBSA.
This year’s event will be an ADULT event with a bus leaving New Middletown around 4 PM to go to the winery. The bus will return around 1 AM. Cost for transportation will be $20 per adult and it will include a voucher for a free wine sampler upon arrival. This transportation will be provided if we have enough parents that would like to enjoy the evening without the worries of driving. Of course, if anybody prefers to drive themselves that works also.
A survey link can be found below to respond to by AUGUST 7 for us to confirm the bus and allow the winery to have a head count. his is guaranteed to be a fun filled night for all and an opportunity to relax and enjoy time with people from our community.
