The San Diego Padres invite you, your family and Santee ASA players to a fun day of baseball at Patco Park!  The big day is Saturday, April 23rd at 5:35 p.m., featuring the Padres vs. the Phillies.

The Padres Softball Day will feature a pre-game parade around the playing field warning track for all players and coaches in uniform.

There will be unique on-field experiences for select players from those leagues with the largest attendance.

The seating offered is in the lower sections of the upper infield reserved areas.  Prices ar $12 per seat (valued at $17 per seat).

Saturday, February 19th is Opening Day!

Santee ASA welcomes many cool vendors to Opening Day!  The fun begins at 8:00 a.m. with vendors present until 4:00 p.m., weather permitting.

Epic Concessions will present a wide variety of customizable clothing:  hats, tees, tanks, shorts, pajamas, etc.  They will also offer lemonade, kettle corn, ice cream and Italian ice!

Other vendors will present:

1.  customizable cinch sacks and lunch boxes;

2.  "tinsel hair" strands in your team colors;  and

3.  helmet painting.

We may or may not re-schedule the vendors for another day in case of a rain-out, but the banner contest will move to Picture Day on February 27th if we are rained out.

We have a good turn out for the pitching and catching clinics.

For pitchers please ensure you bring someone who can act as your catcher (parent, another team mate).

For catchers please ensure you bring your gear just in case you need it.

Due to the overwhelming response we had to close our signups at 85 players across all age groups.  The afternoon clinic added for the 6U/8U unfortunately has been cancelled due to another conflict. We will be looking to have another clinic soon so please stay tuned.

10U, 12U and 14U:  February 13, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Fields 3 and 4.  Please bring a lunch.  $30 per athlete.

6U and 8U:  February 13, 2011:  $20 per athlete:

Session 1: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Field 2 Check in will commence 30 minutes prior to the clinic start time.

Pitching and Catching clinics are full. The cost for those who signed up is $10.

The 8U will follow the morning clinic from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. and the older players will follow the end of their clinic at 3:15 - 4:15 p.m.
