There has been some questions about the rule for coach pitch in 8U. Here is the verbage from the league rules Section 14.08.C: 

1.   NO BASE ON BALLS SHALL BE AWARDED WITH BASES FULL. With bases loaded and ball 4 from defensive pitcher (or hit by pitch) Offensive coach will pitch from inside of pitching circle with at least one foot on the rubber and with defensive pitcher having at least one foot inside circle also. Batter will get 3 pitches to put ball in play or strike out. Foul balls are treated as such on strike 3 and another pitch shall be thrown until either a hit or a strike out is made. 

Softball Opening Day is Saturday, February 16th!  Come on out for some fun in the sun and watch your favorite players play ball!

Plan on spending a little time to find parking, as each of our teams will have games on Saturday and many will be looking for parking.

Santee ASA Player Evaluations are this weekend, January 19th and 20th!

Each player (returning and new) must be evaluated on one of those two dates on Field 4.  The time slot for each age group is as follows:

January 19^th

8am-10am                         8U

10am – 12pm                    10U

12pm – 1:30pm                 12U

1:30pm -2:30pm                14U

January 20^th

8am-9am                          14U

9am-10:30am                    12U

10:30am-12pm                  10U

12pm-1:30pm                     8U
