Despite Ryan's 2-2 performance at the plate on Sunday, the Frederick Hustlers took a 12-3 loss at the hands of the Colangelo Baseball Club at the Maryland Memorial Day State Tournament.

A two-run third inning helped bring the Frederick Hustlers within four. An RBI single by Andrew and a steal of home by Andrew set off Frederick's rally.

The Hustlers' pitchers faced a new twist in second day of the tournament. Runners were allowed to take lead offs on Sunday, whereas on Saturday the traditional no lead off rule was in place. This rule change proved to be the difference despite Frederick's pitchers quick adaptation to the rules.
