Three pitchers baffled the Urbana Hawks and teamed up to throw a no-hitter for the Frederick Hustlers in a 12-0 rout in five innings on Sunday at Cabin John Park. 

Stevie, Justin, and Ryan teamed up to stifle the Urbana Hawks, striking out four while walking two.

Ryan shut down Urbana while he was on the rubber. Ryan held the Hawks hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one.

Five runs in the opening three innings allowed Frederick to easily put away Urbana. An RBI double by Stevie, an RBI double by Jacob, and an RBI groundout by Trevor in the first inning, followed by a steal of home by Joseph and an RBI groundout by Stevie during the second inning supplied the early offense for Frederick. 

Jacob racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Hustlers.

The win eliminated the Hawks from tournament play. Frederick will next play the Olney Buccaneers in the tournament semi-finals. 

Trevor went 2-2, helping the Frederick Hustlers eliminate BCC Big Train from the MCBA Tournament with a 2-0 victory on Saturday.

He singled in the second and fourth innings.

BCC Big Train couldn't get anything going as long as Andrew was pitching. Andrew held BCC Big Train hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Trevor recorded the win for Frederick. He tossed two innings of shutout ball. Trevor struck out one, walked two and gave up no hits.

The game was never in doubt after the fourth, as the Hustlers scored two runs on a sacrifice fly by Andrew and an RBI single by Tyler.

The victory sets up yet another elimination game against the Urbana Hawks on Sunday. 

The Frederick Hustlers came out hungry, exploding for an eight-run rally in the second inning to easily roll over the Olney Buccaneers 10-1 on Sunday at Cabin John #2.  

Jacob was hot from the plate for Frederick. Jacob went 2-3, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the first and second innings.

Trevor recorded the win for Frederick. He tossed 1 2/3 innings of shutout ball. Trevor struck out one, walked one and gave up no hits.

The Hustlers went up for good in the first, scoring two runs on an error and an RBI single by Kyle.

With this win, the Frederick Hustlers get to face their nemesis in the tournament finals - the Olney Pirates. The Pirates are still undefeated in this double-elimination tournament, thus the Hustlers must secure two more victories to hoist the championship trophy. 

After dropping game 1 of the MCBA Tournament, the Frederick Hustlers came out ready on Saturday morning. Frederick quickly pounced, taking an early lead against the Rockville Rockets. Frederick never looked back, crusing to an easy 10-3 victory. Five runs in the first three innings allowed the Hustlers to put the game away early.

A two-run double by Stevie, an error, an RBI single by Aiden, and an RBI triple by Jacob during the second inning helped Frederick put some runs on the board early.

 

Tyler boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate. He singled in the second, third, and fourth innings.

Stevie brought the heat against the Rockets during his outing. Stevie held Rockville hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out six.

Justin also got it done on the hill on the way to a win. He pitched two shutout innings. He walked none and surrendered one hit.

The Hustlers tacked on another four runs in the fourth. A single by Ryan ignited the offense,, bringing home Bradley. That was followed up by Tyler's single, bringing home Jacob and Trevor.

The win eliminated the Rockville Rockets from the tournament and allowed Frederick to advance to play BCC Big Train later in the day.  

Jacob did all he could to give the Frederick Hustlers a boost, but it wasn't enough to get past the Diamond Skills Dodgers, as the Hustlers lost 5-4 in six innings in game 1 of the MCBA League Tournament.

It was a good day at the plate for Jacob. Jacob went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the third inning and tripled in the sixth inning.

The Diamond Skills Dodgers stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the first, scoring three runs on two singles.

One run in the bottom of the third helped Frederick close its deficit to 4-3. A sacrifice fly by Bradley triggered the Hustlers' comeback. The Frederick threat came to an end when the Dodgers finally got Trevor to strike out.

The Hustlers will now need to win the rest of their games in the tournament to avoid elimination.
