TABB's "Hometown Hero" is off to the Ultimate Big League...
Our Salute to:
TABB Athletics T-Baller, Myles McGowan, was called up to the "Ultimate Big League" on July 30, 2008.
It was then that this handsome young man passed from our world into the eternal world after his valiant fight with cancer. Many of you may remember our feature on Myles and know that he leaves behind a family who loved him very, very much. We are reposting his story below for those of you who missed it the first time. Myles' earthly body was laid to rest on August 4, 2008.
As we had relayed to our TABB family earlier in the year, Myles' battle has cost his family a lot... emotionally, mentally, physically and, yes, financially. If you are inclined to help the family by defraying some of the expenses they have incurred for Myles' funeral, please contact the following:
