CONCUSSION in Youth Sports
To help ensure the health and safety of young athletes, CDC developed the Heads Up: Concussion in Youth Sports initiative to offer information about concussions to coaches, parents, and athletes involved in youth sports. The Heads Up initiative provides important information on preventing, recognizing, and responding to a concussion. Press on the headline above to be taken to the CDC website.

Snack Bar Supervisors Needed!!!
Dear Parents,
We need your help! Although teams will be assigned shifts volunteering in the snack bar, we are still looking for volunteer supervisors for nearly all shifts. Snack Bar Supervisors undergo a short training on the equipment and procedures in the snack bar. The work is not difficult and the snack bar managers are committed to making this an enjoyable service.
Supervisors work the same shift each week. Shifts are available Monday - Friday evenings and all day on the weekends. Please contact Kim or Heather for exact times and availability. There is a need for a total of 9 supervisors from the Majors through A baseball divisions. T-Ball and Farm will cover Sunday shifts. If your team furnishes a supervisor that will fulfill the snack bar commitment for the team. Your team will really help out the league and will also not have to supply shift volunteers.
Please contact Kim or Heather at snack.bar@alamedalittleleague.org to volunteer.
