Knights Apparel and Hat order due Monday 11/28
- This will be the ONLY hat order for 2012.
- Order Form and Apparel Flyer in the Handout Section
- A second apparel order will be available in the Spring, but this is a great opportunity to get your Knights gifts before the holiday season.
- We are expecting last year's players to re-use the three hats they were issued last year. PLUS - the team fund will cover ordering of the two additional hats (options 2 and 5) for every player, so we will have 5 team-issue hats to work with next year! The team fund will also be covering all hat requirements for our 4 new players.
- If any of last year's players needs to replace a hat because it is lost or worn out, you will have to purchase it using the enclosed form. Otherwise- please DO NOT include player hat requirements on your submittal, because they are being handled separately. Note-- we will be using all 5 hats during the year for practices and games so it is critical that each player has all 5 hats.
-We encourage family members to order hats and apparel for themselves- it's always good to show our colors at the tournaments!
- If you want to order fitted hat and are unsure of the sizing, just take a string or paper tape and measure the circumference of your head where the hat band rests; divide by "pi" (3.14159) and you've got the hat size...it really works!
- Please make out separate checks for your Apparel and Hat requirements, payable to FW Knights.
- I will need all orders in hand by November 28th. Disregard the deadlines on the forms. They didn't consider process time between each team and the organization.
- You can submit orders by email (clowhome@comcast.net), mail, or drop-off. If the e-form is too cumbersome please just send me the information in an email and I will hand-write it on a form. I will also need all checks in-hand by November 28th.

We will be together for 19 hours in December. 10 hours of baseball and 9 hours of training.
General Notes on the December Plan
Athletic Training (Tuesday and Thursday for 3 weeks)
Starting 11/29 - we are planning 6 training sessions to help the boy’s gain some education about basic athletic training. We are going to be following a very basic and age appropriate version of Nike – Sparq Training and scoring program. We will use our first session to see where the boys are at and give them a SPARQ score. The next 4 sessions will focus on drills to improve the basic athletic attributes (Agility, Speed, Endurance, Power). Our 6th session will be a follow-up assessment so that we can measure our improvement and progress. We understand that there is basketball going on at this same time, and maybe some of the same dates for the boy’s. We are more about teaching the importance of being a well-rounded athlete in this process than just a raw score, so do your best to attend as much as possible.
Baseball Portion (Saturday 12/3, 12/10, 12/17, and 12/27, 12/28)
These dates we will pick-up the gloves and bats and start working together. We will spend about an hour each session throwing and working on glove skills, and the other hour, we will swing the bats!
The times for 12/27 and 12/28 is TBD, it will probably start mid-morning for 2 hours each day.
Dress for Practice
For indoor athletic training, we will wear navy shorts and our orange lightning bolt shirts, tennis shoes, no hats during workouts. We are working on ordering these shirts for the new guys.
For indoor baseball practice we wear, blue Knights hat, lightning bolt shirt, white baseball pants, navy belt and navy socks, tennis shoes. Again, getting the blue hats and orange shirts for new guys.
You must be dressed properly in order to practice with the team.
We will see how December goes and get the January plan out during middle of December.
