Mite C Team to be Added for 2016-2017
MITE C TRAVEL TEAM TO BE ADDED FOR 2016-2017 |
After reviewing the number of players that registered for and attended the Mite travel tryouts, the STHA has decided to field a third travel team at the Mite level for the 2016-2017 season. The team roster will be determined following the completion of tryouts, and a head coach will be subsequently named.
Anyone who is interested in coaching the third Mite travel team is requested to complete the STHA coaching application, as well as a Letter of Intent, and send them to Patrick Basile, VP of Travel Operations.
Applications and Letters of Intent must be received by Wednesday May 11th.
Applicants names will be posted to the STHA website for a period of 7 days (after the 21 day submission period) for submission of letters of support/other by the Membership, after which the Board's Coaching Selection Committee will meet and select a coach.

Level 1, 2, and 3 Coaching Clinics - May 21, 2016
LEVEL 1/2/3 COACHING CLINICS |
On Saturday May 21, 2016 the NYSAHA Coaching Education Program will be presenting Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 clinics during the NYSAHA Annual Meeting at the Turning Stone Resort & Casino, in Verona, NY.
You can register for these clinics on the USA Hockey clinic registration site. The link to register is http://www.usahockey.com/coachingclinics.
These clinics will be strictly classroom orientation, no on ice sessions.
This is a great opportunity to complete your clinic requirement during the off season.

The Annual Meeting of the STHA Board of Directors will be held on Tuesday May 31st, at 7:00pm at the The Relief Pitcher in Binghamton, NY.
Please attend and support youth hockey in the Southern Tier.

Please note that these are tentative plans that are subject to change, and are only provided on an informational basis.
