Try Hockey Day Thank You!

The STHA Board of Directors would like to thank all of the Try Hockey Day volunteers.  The day was a huge success with multiple new players registering for this season and we are anticipating more players will be joining. Many compliments were paid by those in attendance and it is due to all of hard work that our group of dedicated volunteers put forth.  The Board would like to specifically thank the following:

·      Teams: Bantam A, Pee Wee A, Squirt B, Pee Wee #2, Squirt #3,

·      Board Members: Pat Basile, Todd Macan, Chris Tatar, Lori Meyers, Louis Giordano

·      Volunteers: Sarah Espe, Melanie Wagner, The Basile’s, The Dieffenbach’s, Kathy Avery, Tony Pittarelli, Mark Tomko, Vinnie Polacek, Jeannie Botting, Dan Miller, Max, and Shannon from Giordano Dental.

Raffle Ticket Fundraiser

One of the key fundraisers the STHA does each year is the Lottery Fundraiser. All funds from the Lottery Fundraiser go directly to our Between the Pipes Fund. The Between The Pipes Fund provides scholarships each year for STHA families in need of financial assistance. This year, 15 scholarships were provided to STHA families. The cost of three (3) tickets is included in the fees for all age divisions with the exception of the Midget travel teams and U16 House teams. The purchase price of each ticket is $5.  Your coach or team manager will be handing out the tickets over the next several weeks

Player Fees

Be advised that house player fees (base fee) were due on August 31, 2013.  If the fee has not been submitted yet, please do so as soon as possible.  Per STHA policy, jerseys cannot be distributed to players that are not paid in full.  Jerseys will be distributed the week of November 2, in time for games (for those age groups that have games).

Additionally, travel adder fees are due on October 31, 2013.

All payments can be made via PayPal by following the Payment Instructions on the STHA Website (reference the Registration Posting) or a check/money order can be mailed to the STHA P.O. Box.
