The
Aquafina PITCH, HIT & RUN competition is the official skills
competition of Major League Baseball (MLB). It’s a free national program
that gives boys and girls ages 7-14 the chance to showcase
their baseball abilities. PITCH, HIT & RUN is intended to encourage
youth participation and emphasize the fun element of baseball/softball.
All participants must first compete at a local competition, held by New Milford Little League on Sunday, May 1.
Champions in each age group advance to the Sectional Competitions, which was awarded to New Milford Little League and is scheduled for Sunday, May 15. The
Sectional all-around champions in each age group will have the
opportunity to advance to the PITCH, HIT & RUN Team Championships.
From there, winners advance to the National Finals and ultimately have
the chance to play during MLB All-Star weekend.
