Little League Has Released 2008 Rule Changes

Little League has released a summary of the rule changes for 2008. Most notable is the change that ALL League age twelve

years olds are to play in the Majors, only breakaway bases can be used from this point onward, and once a baseball player has

pitched in a game, that youngster may not play the position of catcher for the rest of the calendar day. Download the Little League

Congratulations to CTRs Event Committee and all the children that participated as our float finished second in the civic organization class at the 2008 Christmas Parade. Great job guys!!!!

Umps Needed

We are in need of qualified Umpires!   Clinics on umpiring will be held in the Spring before the season starts. The clinics will cover rules, mechanics, and positioning.
Dates will be set to try and accomodate as many as possible. We will have District participation, rule books, and other handouts to help you.
Qualified Umpires will be reimbursed $20 per game for their expenses.

Pictures taken out of the coaches lounge windows. Top left is the minors/softball field taken from the left side of the room. Top right is the major league field taken from the center window while the bottom left is the junior league field taken out of the right side of the room. The lounge itself is 20x30 with the three 5x5 viewing windows.
