How Old Am I?
This may sound like a silly question, but Little League determines age a little differently than you might think.If you play baseball, we determine your age based on how old you are on April 30, 2008. If you play softball, the age cutoff is December 31, 2008.For charts which make figuring out your age easier click on the links below!!!

How Can I Help?
We hope and need to see a large number of you parents volunteering. Please fill out the volunteer form by clicking the link below, choosing a role that you will enjoy. Please be assured that we conduct full background investigations on all volunteers whose position places them with repetitive access to or contact with kids.

Players and Parents Must Read and Sign Codes of Conduct Not Just Words--It's How We Act!Although the NMBLL has largely avoided the horror stories of physical violence in youth sports we see in other leagues, we have unfortunately witnessed displays of inappropriate conduct by coaches, parents, and players alike. Your Board has therefore decided that to insure that everyone recognizes the importance of sportsmanship, all players and parents must read their respective code of conduct, as well as the Policy of Enforcement, and sign the Parent and Child Agreement. We encourage families to review and discuss the principles stated in the Codes together (especially those with children too young to read!) We also require ALL PARENTS, MANAGERS, AND COACHES TO ATTEND A PRE-SEASON MEETING, where we will review not only sportsmanship, but also player safety and other important issues. As you can see from our policy of enforcement of these Codes, we have a very low tolerance for Code violations, especially with respect to disputes with umpires, so please do not ignore this important step!You can view our Codes of Conduct by going to our Quick Links!

Who Can Play for the NMBLL? To play baseball in the NMBLL, players must be between the ages of 5 and 16 on April 30, 2008. We also offer softball for girls between the ages of 7 and 14. For softball, the cutoff date is December 31, not April 30. See the sidebar entitled "How Old Am I?" for more details.In addition to meeting the age qualification, one of the child's parents must live in our district. Our district map will guide you, and is roughly bounded by the Atlantic Ocean on the east; Ivest Dairy Road on the north; I-95 on the west, and the southern boundaries of the cities of North Miami Beach and Surfside on the South.If neither of the child's parents currently lives in the district you will need to find another League for the district in which you live. If you played in our league last year you can request a waiver. Please email us if you are unsure.

How Much Does It Cost? The Best Sports Bargain Anywhere!Our registration fee for the entire season, which includes a full uniform, trophies, and insurance, are as follows:
  • $120 per child;
  • Although we are not offering a 2nd child discount, scholarships are available.
Of course, it is part of every Little League's charter that no child be turned away from Little League for inability to pay. If you are not able to pay the fees, please submit a scholarship application along with your registration. If you demonstrate financial need, a scholarship will be provided and your child will be able to play ball.
