Announcing this year's Bowling Fundraiser 

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2014

VALENTINE'S DAY

MILLSBORO LANES

REGISTRATION AT THE BOWLING ALLEY ONLY

REGISTRATION STARTS AT 11:30

BOWLING STARTS AT 12:00

Registration is only $20 and includes 3 games of bowling and a door prize ticket.

Bring your own 3-person team, or just show up and be assigned to a team at the lanes. Both men and women are welcome. Scores will be handicap-based.

Prizes will also be awarded for Individual High Game, Individual High Series and Team High Series as well as a special prize for Individual Low Game (a 1-hour lesson by Millsboro Lanes own Jim Conway).

Enter the 50/50 to take a chance at winning a cash prize or a Digital Binocular Camera donated by North Bay Marina.

There are no early sign-ups - all registrations will be at the lanes. If you're planning to attend, send Eddie Sternberg an email at eddiedabowler@aol.com so he can get some idea of how many will be there.

The weather is looking good for softball tomorrow morning.

Be there at 10:30 for batting practice. A 9-inning game will follow.

WINTER SOFTBALL TODAY AT 11:00

You might not get this news in time. A last-minute decision has been made to play some softball today, Monday January 13th, starting at 11:00 a.m.

Following batting practice, a game will be played if there are enough players.

Hope you can make it. 

If you haven't registered for the 2014 Softball Season yet, do so soon. Active players will be limited to the first 156 that register. Slots are filling up fast. So far, 109 players are signed up.

All players registering after 156 will be placed on a waiting list. Be sure to include your registration fee with the registration form.

Hopefully you were able to join us for the Holiday Party at Fox's Pizza Den last week. There was a great turnout. When you get a chance, ask Terry Shifflett and Jesse Bare about the presents they received.

Three large boxes of toys were collected for the Toys for Tots campaign. Way to go guys (and gals)!!

Everyone had a good time. There was a suggestion that the OTS players get together again soon. Keep checking the OTS News for info on a possible January get-together.

At the party it was announced that Fox's Pizza Den has agreed to become a team sponsor for the 2014 season. Be sure to stop by (this is the one at Rt. 54 and Rt. 20) and welcome them to the league.
