B and E Tires

The Ocean View Family Restaurant Team won the regular season 2011 OTS Championship by two full games with 20-7 record.  Led by managers John Walker and John Mancuso, the team was never out of first place over the season.  It was a true team effort led by the outstanding pitching and hitting of manager John Walker.

The Delmarva LTCI Center Team won the 2011 OTS Tournament by winning four straight games.  In their third game, they scored five runs in the bottom of the seventh to defeat a scrappy American Legion 24 team 9-8. AL 24 finished third in the ten team tournament, losing a heatbreaker to Ocean View Family Restaurant (OVFR), 5-4 in the consulation bracket championship. In the championship game, LTCI beat OCVR rather decisively, a team they lost to three times in the regular season by a total of four runs. With this game a greatly competitive season ends.

Fallball is to start on September 13 at 9:00 am on the COG Fields.  Players should notify managers as to their availabilty.  New players are welcome.  Their is no charge but all new players must sign a waiver form.

The 2011 OTS Picninc will be held on September 8 from 3:30 to 66:30 at the American Legion Post 24 near the ball fields at Routes 26 and 113. The fee is $5.00 per adult. Families are asked to bring a dish for 6 as well.
