U11 KNIGHTS TAKE 1ST PLACE AT THE 2008 EASTSIDE HUSKIES MEMORIAL WEEKEND CLASSIC!!!
The U11 Knights Baseball team had a great Memorial Day Weekend, playing hard and coming out as champions of the 2008 Eastside Huskies Classic in Bellevue, Washington. The Knights went 5-0 in the tourney posting 45 runs on the board while giving up just 12. The team had a batting average of .473 for the tournament and defeated the Kent Iguanas 10-1 in the championship game Monday afternoon. Pitchers Garrett W., Scott S., Lawyer B.and Markus M. combined to hold the high powered Kent offense to just one run. Markus M. lead the team with a tournament batting average of .733 followed by Max D. at .538. Nine Knights pitchers held their opponents to just 12 runs in the entire tournament. A great team effort.
