WELCOME TO THE 2014 18U FEDERAL WAY KNIGHTS
The Federal Way Knights organization has been a part of the community for over 8 years. We are a 501C non-profit and provide the opportunity for young men ages 8-18 to play high level select baseball at a very affordable cost.
The 2014 18U Knights are pleased to announce the return of Head Coach Steve Atkinson, Assistant Coach Jay Roberts and Pitching Coach Nelson Atkinson with over 30 years combined coaching experience. Steve and Jay recently coached the 14U, 15U and 16U SBA Bombers to several championships with solid fundamentals in all aspects of the game being the driving force behind the wins.New to the coaching staff for 2014 will be Assistant Coach and Pitching Coach Zach Jacobs and Assistant Coach and Outfield Coach Kyle Font.
Kyle Font is a first time coach and is new to the Knights Organization. He is a recent graduate from Pacific Lutheran University where he received his Bachelors of Business Administration concentrating in Finance. While at Pacific Lutheran Kyle was a member of the Varsity Baseball program for two years. In High school, Kyle roamed the outfield for the Decatur Golden Gators and played summer ball with the Puyallup Avalanche and the JBA Bruins. Kyle is looking forward to helping players develop both physically and mentally in preparation for the coming season and college baseball.

The 2014 18U Knights are pleased to welcome three new players to the team:
Taylor Graham (parents Devin and Lisa) is a Junior at Bonney Lake High School and particpates and both baseball and golf. Taylor is a left handed pitcher, outfielder and 1st baseman, bats left and throws left.
Brandon Zimmerman (parents Jeff and Chrysti) is a Senior at Decatur High School and participates in both baseball and wrestling. Brandon is a catcher and middle infielder, bats left and throws right.
Tanner Knapp (parents Jim and Stephanie) is a sophomore at Fife HS where he participates in baseball, football and wrestling. Tanner has been playing baseball for the Knights Organization for the last 7 years and in 2013 played on the highly competitive 15U team. Tanner is a switch hitter and throws right. He is a pitcher and also plays 3rd base and shortstop.

18U Federal Way Knights will be holding tryouts for the 2014 season.
The plan for 2014 is to play 18U league, Palouse Tourney, 2 or 3 showcase type tourneys and our 10th annual Summer Knights tourney in July.

We are pleased to announce the addition of Marcus Hudson to the coaching staff for 2013 - 2014. Marcus Hudson is an assistant coach at Decatur HS and was a LHP at Jamestown College in 2010 and 2011. Contact Head Coach Steve Atkinson if you have any questions. seatacstev@comcast.net
