See Your Team Mom To Schedule Your Snack Shack Shifts And Earn Your Refund!
Team Moms are scheduling volunteers for their snack shack shifts. If you're anxious to git 'er done, see your Team Mom and jump on the shifts that work best with your schedule. She can also help you trade dates with another team if the block of games assigned to your team doesn't fit your schedule (though hopefully those situations will be minimal). Each team will be assigned a block of shifts over a several day to one week period based on the number of volunteers that wish to earn their $40 snack shack refund by completing two scheduled shifts in the snack shack. Scheduling shifts in a block makes it easier for parents to trade around if "life gets in the way" of making their date with the Snack Shack. We need an adult in the Minor Snack Shack at all times in order for it to be open. With your support, we will be able to have it open every time there's a game on Kenneally or Middle Fields and save you the extra steps to the Major Snack shack for non-grill goodies.
The more $ucce$$ful our $nack $hacks are, the lower we can keep fees as our costs continue to climb. Volunteers ensure that our teen workers have the required supervision to keep the Minor Snack Shack open and generate thousands of additional dollars to our general fund each season. Without an adult at the Minor Snack Shack, the teens scheduled there can't work their shift so when you pitch in, everybody wins!
If your assigned shift is rained out, we will redeploy you to make-up week coverage. Should the new date not work, you'll be able to trade with parents from other teams using the Team Mom Network. On some days, there are games on both minor division fields, so the snack shack show will go on if only one of the two games is rescheduled.
We may also contact you for the opportunity to be a "sous chef of sorts" in the Major Snack during the busy mid-day lunch crunch Shack . Working two of these shifts will also make you eligible for your snack shack refund.
Thanks for your support... and for your patience as we complete our "on the job" initiation into the Restaruant Business!

REMINDER: Team Mom Meeting Tomorrow Night (Thursday 3/22) at 7:30 in the Board Room
Hey Team Moms! We'll see you Thursday evening above the Snack Shack in the Board Room. I hope the meeting will last less than an hour. If you are unable to make it, please ask another parent from your team to attend.
Team Moms are a vital link between the Board, the Managers, the families, and the Snack Shack Crew. With your help, we will finish scheduling the volunteer snack shack shifts for the rest of the season. We'll get some tips from Braves Team Mom, Mary Johnson, who had the first two weeks of the season covered in no time at all. We'll also quickly review the rest of the Team Mom role and make sure everyone has what they need for Sunday's Picture Day at PALL.
We look forward to seeing you there!
