2012 National Invitational Scholastic Showcase - Semi Finals and Finals
2012 National Invitational Scholastic Showcase ~ Jamestown, New York
Culver Academy proved in the 2012 National Invitational Scholastic Showcase that defense is the winning recipe for Championship Hockey to capture the Governor’s Cup.
The Eagles defeated University School of Ohio 3-1 in the title game at Jamestown Savings Bank Arena. Logan Badelich broke a 1-1 tie late in the 2nd period and Luke Israel added an insurance goal early in the 3rd period for the difference. John Eansor’s 5th goal of the tournament gave Culver the lead in the opening period and US’s Clarke Jones tied the game at one apiece at 6:05 of the 1st period.

University School defeated Ontario Hockey Academy in overtime, Bethel Park Pa and DeMatha Maryland to earn a spot against rival St Edwards in the Semi-Finals.
