THE CABC ANNUAL MEETING HAS BEEN SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 2012 AT 6:30 P.M. AT GOLF QUEST, 125 JUDE LANE, SOUTHINGTON, CT. THE AGENDA FOR THE MEETING WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:I. PRESIDENT'S REPORT

THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF ANY PROPOSED CHANGES IN THE BYLAWS AND/OR CONSTITUTION IS MONDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 2012. PLEASE FORWARD ANY PROPOSED CHANGES TO TONY SANTORO BY THAT DATE. ANY PROPOSED REVISIONS MUST INCLUDE SPECIFIC LANGUAGE.
RULE CHANGES FOR 2011 HANDBOOK
1. Enact a time limit for Regional play of two (2) hours for Roberto Clemente, Willie Mays, Pee Wee Reese and Sandy Koufax at the discretion of the Regional Vice President.
2. Rule 212, Page 21, amend to read "In all cases, pool play must be followed by either single or double elimination."
3. Rule 106 - Add (f) to read "If during a game, a team has a player who is not on the roster enter the game, it will constitute a forfeit."
4. Rule 213 (e), Page 1, change to read "Sites hosting a Regional Tournament may charge entry fees with the approval of the Regional Vice President."
5. Rule 213 (d), Page 1, change from not to exceed $5,000 to "up to $7,000". Fee can be graduated per age divisions.
6. The Regional Vice President will be allowed to eliminate regional tournaments and replace them with qualifiers for National Tournaments for any age division with the approval of the National office.
7. The official roster form of the AABC is the only roster form that can be utilized for National Tournaments.
8. Implement a 6 and under division, named the Rod Carew Division.
9. The Rod Carew division will utilize a "GAP HITTER" rather than a T.
10. Ban all metal composite bats in all divisions in National Competition.
In 2012 the Mickey Mantle and Ken Griffey Jr age division will adopt Rule 221 (e) on page 25 of the 2011 AABC Handbook. This will only allow wood, laminate or composite wood bats to be used.
