Wildcats win big again at DCA!

Posted by Mark Hubbuch at Nov 6, 2006 4:00PM PST ( 0 Comments )
The Wildcats win big over the "other" Wildcats in our district, rolling 21-6 over DCA.  Led by senior Jere McDaniel with a super 278 game & 722 series, the guys made it three in-a-row with a nice 3489 series at Donelson Bowl.  Also scoring well for us were Ryan Cox with a 222-635, Geremy Roseti with a 214-587, and super sub Krishna Patel with his new high game of a 212!  Way to go, guys!

The LadyCats had their toughest match of the season to date, facing an ever-improving DCA squad.  Our ladies answered the call, rolling a new season-high 2850 series en route to a 19-8 victory!
Leading the way in a balanced attack was senior Traci Baker with a 194-534, and senior Ashley Davis had a nice 507 series.  Amanda Moore rolled a 190 in game 3 today as well.  Keep the machine rolling, ladies!!  6 - 0 record now!!

Bowling on Halloween proved to be frightful for Ezell-Harding, as our boys and girls both put up strong performances today.  The LadyCats won big again 23-4.  Traci Baker had an outstanding day, taking over high series in the district with a great 567.  Amanda Moore also bowled very well, scoring her new season high of 542, with high game of the day 200.  Freshman Brennan Page, starting for the absent Brittany Farmer, did very well, winning all three points and having a high game of 163.  Also, sub Terra Lee White bowled her new high with a 136.  Super!!
The story of the day for the boys is Ryan Cox, who broke out of a mild slump in grand fashion, rolling games of 266-279-244 for a 789 series!!!  This is a boys team school record, and we believe it to also be a District 10 record as well.  WAY TO GO, RYNO!!  The boys won big too, with a 25-2 final score.  Also bowling well today were Chris Stewart 224-608, Jere McDaniel 219-605, Kenny Bald with a 205, and sub Matt Hopkins scored a 200 even.  Fantastic win, Cats!!

The boys won a very important away match today against county-rival Lebanon, winning 17-10!  With only 7 boys present, the guys came through for only the 2nd time in six years @ Lebanon Lanes.  Leading the way was Jere McDaniel with a 234-621.  Ryan Cox also posted a 200 game.  Way to go, boys!
The girls rolled again, winning 22 1/2 - 4 1/2.  After winning 15 of 16 points the first two games, the subs got a chance to hone their skills.  Brittany Farmer led today with a 184-517.  Girls are now 4-0, and the regular season district win streak advances to 27!  Keep it rolling LadyCats!

Girls roll....boys are surprised at Antioch

Posted by Mark Hubbuch at Oct 23, 2006 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )

Our match at Melrose Lanes vs. Antioch was good for the girls and not so good for the guys.  The WC LadyCats improved to 3 - 0 for the season with a strong 26-1 victory!  While the scores were not as good (as usual at the away centers), the team won easily with games of 881-865-788.  Traci Baker led the way with a nice 210 game - 519 series.  Brittany Farmer also had a 192 game.  Good job, LadyCats!
The boys did not fare as well, however, losing a heartbreaker 13-14.  Game 2 was the ultimate difference, as we lost by only three pins!!  Ryan Cox had high game with 211, while freshman Geremy Roseti led the team today with a nice 206-581. The boys are now 2-2 on the year.
