Both teams rolled to a easy victory over Glencliff, with the Boys winning 24-3, and the Girls 23-4.  Pin counts were not as high as Coach would have liked, as the team again "played down" to the competition!  A few bowlers did stand out - for the boys Geremy Roseti had a very good day, leading the way with a 221-639, and Trent Sheppard rolled a nice 225 game.  Wildcats received some help from District leader Mt Juliet, as they beat Antioch and coupled with our win the boys moved to sole possession of 2nd place in the standings with their 8-2 record!

The Lady Wildcats were led by So. Brennan Page, who was back to her early-season form with a nice 192 game & 517 series.  Even with the lower scores today, the LadyCats moved to 9 - 0 on the season, and their winning streak stretched to 44 matches.  GO LADYCATS!!

For the 2nd time this season against Antioch, the Wildcat Boys started the first game on fire and swept all 8 points, this time with a season-high 1292 game!!  After that it was a "cruising" finish with 3542 pins and a 17-10 victory.   There were lots of stars today, with high game going to JR Clemons with a 248, and Seth Carey a close 2nd with a great 247 (7 strikes in a row!).  High series went to Geremy Roseti with a 634.  Other great scores were:  Trent Sheppard 221-621; Drew Morrow 227-616;  JR Clemons with a 601 series; and Chris Branner a 202 game.  WOW!  The boys pull back into a 2nd place tie in the District 10 standings, and are again only 1 game behind Mt. Juliet.  SUPER BOWLING, WILDCATS!!

The LadyCats easily extend their district winning streak to 43 matches, and move to 8 - 0 on the season with their first-ever points "sweep" in a match, winning 27-0 over the Antioch LadyBears!  Rolling 2761 with no 200+ games, the balanced LadyCats were led by Brittany Farmer with a 199-562, and Brittany Turner with a 186-543.  Now both boys & girls teams can say "We have a sweep."  Congrats, LadyCats...keep up the good work!!

Rolling her high game of the year with a great 246, and an outstanding 658 series, Brittany Farmer led the WC LadyCats to another easy victory over DCA 23-4!  In the anticipated matchup between the top 2 average girls in District 10, Farmer took total control of the average race in her match with Meg Shaneyfelt, winning all 3 games with relative ease.  Brittany now leads the District with a great 198 average.  LadyCats win is #42 in-a-row in district play, and they are now 7 - 0 on the season.  Keep the machine rolling, LadyCats!!

The Wildcats did not have their best day as a team, dropping their match 8-19 at Donelson Bowl.  The team seemed to have a hard time all day getting lined up to strike, and the number of missed spares was way too many.  DCA took full advantage of their "home" field, and won all 3 games against us.  The bright spot for us was Trent Sheppard, who bowled very well in posting his new high game & series for the season with a great 239-631.  Chris Branner also rolled a nice 203 in game 2.  Boys are now 7 - 2 on the season, and the match on Thursday vs. Antioch just got much bigger.  Hang in there, 'Cats!

The Wildcats may have swept the last match on Tuesday, but today's match was more impressive, as they won over a much-improved Friendship Christian team 26-1.  Rolling new highs for the season with a 1209 in game 2, and a very good 3513 team series, the boys showed how much they have improved so far!  Geremy Roseti had the hottest hand today, rolling a super 257 game & 651 series!  Other great scores today were:  Sr. Trent Sheppard 221-620 (season high's), So. JR Clemons 220-600, Sr. Drew Morrow 211-590, and Fr. Chris Branner with a 204.  Wildcats record now 7 - 1 on the season.  GO WILDCATS!!

WOW!!  That is the best word to describe yesterday's performance by the LadyCats team, after soaring to new heights in an impressive victory over previously unbeaten Ezell-Harding!  Winning easily 24-3, the LadyCats set a new SCHOOL RECORD for game & series, with a 1048 game 2, and a 3044 series, our 1st ever 3000+ series in a match!!  Led by another super day by Sr. Brittany Farmer with a 235 game and 666 series, the LadyCats had no trouble taking sole possession of 1st place in District 10.  Other top scorers yesterday were:  Brittany Turner with a 189-518, Brennan Page & Danielle Chaffin - both with a 188 high game, and Fr. Kirstin Page with a nice 186 game.  LadyCats now 6-0 on the season, and winning streak goes to 41 matches.  WAY TO GO, LADYCATS!!

The Wildcat Boys were also impressive yesterday, albeit over a very young and inexperienced Ezell team, sweeping all 27 points for the first time in team history!!  JR Clemons led the way again with a great 246-646, and super sub Fr. Seth Carey came in for game 2 and shot 221, his new personal high!  Geremy Roseti also had a nice 213 in game 2.  Boys are now 6-1 on the season - keep up the good work, Wildcats!!
